Giving to Our Community

          Part of our company culture at 5 A Rent – a – Space is the importance of supporting our communities.  The communities surrounding each site are unique, and provide different opportunities for us to give back in a meaningful way.  This week I would like to highlight our Lahaina Team that supports an organization in West Maui called Women Helping Women.  Women Helping Women is an organization that provides shelter and resources for domestic abuse survivors and their children. Along with providing temporary housing for these women and children, they provide clothing, job training, and home furnishings for everyone who enters their shelter. One important component of their non-profit is ReVive Boutique. This stylish thrift store not only provides an affordable way for women to purchase much needed personal items, it also provides job training for women looking to re-enter the workforce. They accept donations at their Kahului location (65 W. Kaahumanu Ave, Unit 32, Kahului, HI 96732) between 10am – 4pm. You can also make a donation at our 5A Lahaina location. Liz, Maria and Scott can provide you with a receipt which is tax deductible. Donations of clothes, gently used furniture and home furnishings are accepted at both locations.
