Be the Star You Are is a local Bay Area is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation dedicated to providing library books to young people in need. Be The Star You Are fundraises in many different ways including hosting a Book Bash 5A Rent-A-Space in Moraga. CA. When participants spent $19.99 or more, they received a free book and donated books to local schools, libraries and organizations in need. During the holiday season they are looking to raise funds for their non-profit through the completion of a 2-3 minute survey. If you purchased a Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) Television or computer screen between 1995 and 2007, you may be eligible for money obtained from a settlement. If you would like to donate that money, take the following survey (http://www.donatedirect.net/be-the-star-you-are-crt/) and it will go directly to Be The Star You Are. You will receive a tax receipt following your donation. Follow the links below to assist an organization promoting literacy to youth in need in the Bay Area.
