CPR Training at 5A Rent-A-Space with FREE Gift!

If a cardiac arrest happened to your loved one or a close friend, would you know how to perform
life-saving CPR, which can double a victim’s chance of survival? Surprisingly, the vast majority
of citizens don’t. With bystander CPR, use of an automated electronic defibrillator if available,
and a rapid EMS response from your 9-1-1 call, our community can increase survival from
sudden cardiac arrest. The first link in the chain of survival is the most critical – immediate CPR
after a 9-1-1 call, while EMS is responding. Family and Friends CPR Anytime is a self-directed,
personal CPR kit that makes learning the core skills of CPR easy, convenient, affordable and fun
for the whole family. It takes just 22 minutes to learn and can be done anywhere. (This kit does
not provide certification in CPR.)

5A’s Moraga Managers, Brad and Gloria Noggle invite the entire community to learn the basics
of life saving CPR in 2 free classes March 26th at 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM, to be held in Suite I,
455 Moraga Road. One representative of each family attending will receive a CPR Anytime kit.
The Moraga-Orinda Fire District is providing the kits for 5A’s CPR training events. The
materials have been made available by grants from the Moraga Lions Club, the Upjohn Fund of
San Francisco, and the Rescue One Foundation.

In a letter to Brad & Gloria Noggle from Nancy Daniel, RN, EMS CQI/CPR Training Center
Coordinator, Moraga-Orinda Fire District, she says;
“I’m just back from Seattle/King County’s Resuscitation Academy, where I shared the
willingness of local merchants like you, to support the Town of Moraga in being designated a
HeartSafe Community. Your enthusiasm for providing a venue to demonstrate the CPR Anytime
self-directed learning program is infectious, and is exactly what I learned is key to promoting this
vitally important public health initiative. Your community leadership will go a long way to
strengthen the partnership between the Town, public safety, and the Fire District to increase
survival from sudden cardiac arrest by training the general public to respond immediately when
someone collapses in cardiac arrest.”
There will be an audio-visual presentation and hands on training with the CPR Anytime Kits. For
